I knew even as a child that I wanted to be a teacher. I used to sit my little brother down and go over charts that I made of letters, numbers, and words—even though he was only a year younger than I. I grew up right here in Abilene, Texas. Now, I am thankful that my husband and I are raising our children here in Abilene as well. My husband and I have been married for over twenty years. We have five children that are high school and college age. My own children have gone through Cornerstone and it has made a huge difference in their character, academics, and their relationship with God. It is my honor to be teaching Kindergarten at Cornerstone. I love that I get to help each child’s academic career begin with a creative, loving, nurturing and academically sound experience. My prayer is that I model God’s kindness and goodness so that the students left in my care will draw near to Him!
